Welcome to the New Website

A huge welcome to our website. The Western Road Allotments Society has existed since 2009.  It's main purpose was to form together as a single coherent voice to talk to our landlord - Merton Council so that they did not get bombarded by individual plot-holders.  Do have a look around the website and please join our forum. Self-Management You may have received a recent letter from the council regarding Self-Management of Allotment Sites. Please give your opinions of this either in person to any of the committee members or leave a comment on the forum  under the topic of General-->Self Management. Jeremy and Kerrigan attended the 2nd March meeting.  You can find minutes of both meetings under News on the menu. We received two documents at the meeting.  One was a financial breakdown of the costs to Merton for running the sites and the other was a draft document detailing what the roles of the Council and the Management Committee would be if self-management took place.  These documents will be stored under Documents ASAP.
